Abstract

Do you often freeze because you are afraid you might fail? In this workshop you will learn how to overcome fear of failure and the consequent self-doubt. You will discover the failure process behind many success stories and learn to embrace it as part of the learning process. Through self-reflection and peer group interaction, you will learn about the importance of developing a growth mindset and the value of effort toward achieving your goals. Participation will also give you an opportunity to share and connect with other people of the academic community.

Speaker

Dr. Anastasia Besika is a psychology researcher and a well-being expert. For over 12 years Anastasia worked in the public and corporate sectors, helping people increase their life satisfaction and well-being. She developed and published theoretical models of happiness and resilience as well as research methodologies.
