Abstract

Unconscious assumptions may cause us to unintentionally treat people unfairly or discriminate against them. In this e-​learning module you will discover how such prejudices arise and the potential consequences – and how to avoid them.

Learning Objectives

ETH Zurich should be a place where everyone feels welcome and is treated with respect. Bullying, sexual harassment, discrimination and threats or violence are not tolerated at our university. In the e-​learning tutorial on unconscious bias, ETH members can find out more about how this bias can lead to inappropriate behaviour and how it can be avoided in future.
