Abstract

In this workshop, you will practice co-creating with ChatGPT and other AI tools by working on your own writing projects. Focusing on different phases of writing (planning, drafting, and revising), this workshop highlights particularly effective means to improve scientific texts. You will select the tools most suitable for your own writing context, improve your writing, and gather feedback on the efficiency of your writing process.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the course, you are able to

  • select a suitable AI-based writing tool
  • streamline the writing process
  • plan, draft, and revise texts effectively
  • comply with ETH regulations regarding plagiarism

It is recommended but not mandatory that participants first take the workshop on the fundamentals of using ChatGPT (“Scientific Writing: Using ChatGPT effectively and responsibly”).
