Abstract

The Long Nights of Careers offers students many opportunities to explore career topics, meet potential employers and to network. It is the occasion to gather ideas, to meet potential employers in an informal setting, to forge contacts and to hone your job application skills.

Learning Objectives

Students attending the LNoC learn about the Swiss job market (hiring companies, career opportunities, career paths …). They will also learn about a host of different career topics (e.g. personal branding, CV writing, LinkedIn writing, AC/DC, …) via workshops and presentations from the CC or from participating companies. They will have also practiced the art of self presentation by interacting with company reps. 

Content

The Long Nights of Careers offers students many opportunities to explore career topics, meet potential employers and to network. The Long Night of Careers (LNoC) is a event with a varied and interactive program related to the career topic, organized by the ETH Career Service in partnership with employers, professionals, alumni and professors.The event, targeted to all students and Alumni of Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral students, allows participants to spend a whole evening focusing on their professional futures. The Long Night of Careers is the occasion to gather ideas, to meet potential employers in an informal setting, to forge contacts and to hone your job application skills.
