Abstract

The Makerspace at the ETH Student Project House is a place, where all ETH Students (bachelor, master and doctoral students) can work on self-initiated projects and perform most types of standard prototyping.

Learning Objectives

Develop understanding and gain practical experience of prototyping materials, machines and equipment; being able to applying technical knowledge to the implementation of own practical prototyping work comfortably and in the respect of safety rules and guidelines

Content

Give all students access to prototyping equipment, strengthen interdisciplinary idea exchange and support student entrepreneurship.

Comment

The user must be affiliated to ETH Zurich and must not have graduated for no longer than a year. The only restriction is that if your institute already gives you access to a workshop for your course (such as Architecture models or the Innovation project in D-MAVT), or if you think of fabricating for a commercial purpose (small-series production), then our space might not be the best fit.
