Abstract

Reproducibility in scientific computing is an integral part of reliable research. This workshop is all about version control of code and the management of computational environments. By the end of the workshop, you will have a sound understanding of the tools you need to ensure reproducibility in your computational workflows.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the workshop, you are able to

  • identify current limits of reproducibility in your computational workflows,
  • use relevant tools for addressing these limitations.

Content

  • Conceptual and practical aspects of computational reproducibility
  • Version control of code as the basis for reproducibility
  • Advantages and pitfalls of computational notebooks
  • Management of computational environments
  • Slides of a previous workshop
