Building an effective Moodle course

Abstract

This is a short course designed to help teaching staff at ETH develop the needed competencies for creating effective Moodle course pages. The course is fully online and designed for participants to work through at their own pace. It provides both didactic and practical advice for rapid Moodle skill development as well as experimentation opportunities. 

Learning Objectives

• Describe background information about Moodle.
• Build a basic Moodle course.
• Choose and implement activities and resources appropriate to your teaching needs.

Content

The course takes between 3-5 hours to complete. Participants who complete all the quizzes in the course correctly will automatically receive a Moodle badge.
