Abstract

The Makerspace at the ETH Student Project House is a place, where all students can realize their own projects and learn new machines. These include 3D printers, laser cutters, water jet, CNC, etc.

Learning Objectives

  • Develop understanding and gain practical experience of prototyping materials, machines and equipment
  • Being able to applying technical knowledge to the implementation of own practical prototyping work comfortably and in the respect of safety rules and guidelines

Content

Give all students access to prototyping equipment, strengthen interdisciplinary idea exchange and support student projects.

Comment

The Student Project house is open for all ETH students (up to one year after exmatriculation). Currently not supported are research thesis, curricular work as well as fabrication for a commercial purpose.
