Abstract
Images play an important role in many research projects. This workshop shows how they can be managed, provided with metadata and adequately documented. In addition, various types of licences will be discussed that regulate use and simplify reuse. Furthermore, suitable file formats for the long-term archiving of research images will be recommended.Learning Objectives
At the end of the workshop, you will be able to
- manage your images and their metadata,
- license your own images correctly and
- understand how to handle images in research.
