Research data management - basics and how to apply them
Abstract
Systematic management of your research data lays the foundation for scientific collaborations and makes your research results reusable in the long term. In this workshop, you will learn about basic concepts and components of research data management which will assist you in handling your research data along the research data life cycle.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the workshop, you are able to
- explain the basic concepts and components of research data management along the research data life cycle,
- apply methods for research data documentation according to good scientific practice so that your data remain reusable in the long term,
- assess the challenges of long-term preservation and prepare data according to their purpose.
