“Inspire and relieve fear” - as a Prestudy Event tutor, you ensure that the new Bachelor students have a good start to their studies. Abstract
At the training, you will gain an understanding of your role as a tutor and your tasks at the Prestudy Event. You will also be taught methods that will help you successfully guide group work. And last but not least, you will get to know other tutors and have the opportunity to network with each other.
Learning Objectives
- You are prepared to competently take responsibility for a small group at the Prestudy Event.
- You have a clear understanding of your role as a tutor and you can describe it in a comprehensible way. Your tasks are fully known to you and you know how to fulfill them.
- You can apply methods to successfully guide group work.
- You have met other tutors and exchanged and networked with them.
Content
Program:
- Welcome and ice-breaker exercise
- Introduction to Prestudy Event 2024 and tasks as a tutor
- Role as a tutor (exercise and definition/role understanding)
- Exercise on prepared experience report
- Exercise on a round of questions and overview of information brochure
- Exercises on group work
- Wrap-Up and questions.
