Abstract

What makes a good scientist? This workshop aims to help you explore and define your professional identity and your scientific mission. You will gain theoretical knowledge on the structure of identity and types of identity. Through self-reflection exercises and interesting peer discussions, you will explore in small groups your values and beliefs and how those overlap with the academic culture. Participation will also give you an opportunity to share and connect with other people in the academic community.

Speaker

Dr. Anastasia Besika is a psychology researcher and a well-being expert. For over 12 years Anastasia worked in the public and corporate sectors, helping people increase their life satisfaction and well-being. She developed and published theoretical models of happiness and resilience as well as research methodologies.
