Abstract

During this presentation, students learn about the informational interviewing technique - an informal conversation they can have with someone working in an area of interest to them.

Learning Objectives

Students learn about the informational interviewing technique. At the end of the session, they know why informational interviewing can be impactful; the difference between informational interviews and normal interviews; which company / person they should reach out to and how; how they can prepare for the interview; what follow-up steps should they take.

  • What follow-up steps should I take?
