Abstract
MeWell is a community of academic students and staff members at ETH Zurich that seeks to improve mental wellbeing in academia through seminars and networking events.
Learning Objectives
- Become more aware of the importance of mental health (and problems related to the lack of mental health)
- Be able to identify misconceptions concerning mental health topics
- Acquire basic knowledge about mental health to understand own strengths and weaknesses better
- Connect with peers and find support from the community
Content
Each month, we cover a different topic with a mental health professional. The following topics will be covered this semester:
- January: Pursuit of Happiness
- February: Eating Disorders
- March: Bullying
- April: Self-Compassion
- May: Loneliness
- June: Stereotypes and Stigma
- July: Exam Anxiety
The dates and locations of the individual events will be communicated throughout the semester on the MeWell website.
