Abstract

The ETH Library offers you tailored services for all phases of your doctorate: search and access to relevant information, knowledge management and research data management, as well as scientific writing, publishing and open access. In the workshop, you will get to know the resources, tools and contact persons that are key to completing your doctorate.

Learning Objectives

You will learn why and how the search portal swisscovery supports you in your search for scientific information and how to find the media and databases suitable for your subject area.You will get to know tools for reference and knowledge management as well as learn more about the advantages they offer.
You will learn why it is essential to plan your research data management from an early point in the process.
You will get to know the most important contact persons and support services of the ETH Library when it comes to scientific writing and publishing.
